We are a healthtech company on a mission to
make today's healthcare system obsolete.

The system we all rely on was designed in the 1970s:
reactive, fragmented, built for emergencies.
It only intervenes when something is already wrong.

We're building a new health layer for Europe:
proactive, coordinated, personalized, and powered by real medical expertise + AI.

In just 3 months, we already served 300+ users and partner with 190+ labs across Italy. We've built an end-to-end ETL pipeline and a live AI "doctor" agent already shipping actionable protocols. We're a small team of ambitious builders with an extremely high bar for quality and execution.

We're looking for someone with deep technical expertise in AI and data, who wants to
build real products fast
, not just research them.

You'll help shape functional AI systems that could change the health outcomes of
millions of people
.

What you'll do:

• Improve, maintain, and own our
  data layer
  and
  ETL pipelines
  .
• Collaborate with our medical team to translate complex clinical requirements into
  structured knowledge
  , and then into agents and workflows.
• Build the next version of
  Doctor AI
  : a reasoning engine, built on top of our data layer, that drafts
  safe, evidence-based medical protocols
  .
• Design and implement a
  conversational medical agent
  , deeply integrated with our data layer, with strong guardrails, validation, and evaluation frameworks.
• Work with third-party data providers (labs, wearables, etc.) to integrate data pipelines at scale.
• Prioritise
  privacy, safety, and compliance
  — HIPAA, GDPR, HDS, and medical regulations.

You will be
the technical owner
bringing this products to reality.

Our stack:

• Typescript end-to-end
  + Express GraphQL).
• Orchestration with

  (classification, extraction, parsing).

You'll thrive here if you:

• have 2.5+ years building agentic AI systems; 6+ years as a full-stack or ML engineer
  .
• Are fluent with agentic orchestration (
  e.g., LangGraph, LlamaIndex
  ) and tool/function calling.
• Have experience integrating frontier 
  LLMs and multimodal models
   via managed APIs or self-hosted serving.
• Have data systems expertise with 
  PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Know
  vector databases, RAG pipelines, embeddings
  .
• Know Retrieval and memory:
   vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone),
  semantic
  , keyword, hybrid.
• Understand
  data privacy & medical compliance
  (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 13485 or MDR).
• Have
  team leadership experience
  (tech ownership, mentoring, or leading squads).
• Are fluent in
  Italian + English
  .
• Operate with a
  low-ego, entrepreneurial mindset
  and want to build a generational company with massive impact.
