• Marketplace web app:
  A high-performance frontend application for our marketplace, featuring user authentication, advanced filtering and search capabilities, and SEO metadata handling. Built using React and , it ensures a smooth and responsive user experience. Additionally, it utilizes TailwindCSS for efficient and customizable styling.
• Marketplace back-end APIs:
  Efficient backend service developed with and , handling data processing and aggregation from various databases, ensuring seamless communication between the frontend and backend components. The backend leverages MongoDB using Prisma ORM for robust database management and operations.

What You will do

Some of the key job functions of this position include:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the Mapo Tapo marketplace web application.
• Build and enhance the backend API service for seamless integration with the frontend.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain shared libraries used across different projects.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using TypeScript and relevant frameworks.
• Oversee technology strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the technology infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React and
• Proficiency in backend development using and
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with Prisma for ORM and working with MongoDB.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as AWS CodePipeline.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Atlas.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a senior development position.
• Experience with AI tools and building with them.
• Experience in AI-first applications and MCPs.
• Ability to translate business needs into tech solutions and simplify workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
