The Role
As a System Administrator at Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services, you'll be part of a project-based team managing complex Linux infrastructures. You will contribute your expertise across Red Hat and SUSE environments, ensuring systems are stable, reliable, and secure while supporting business-critical operations. This role combines hands-on problem solving with long-term planning, giving you both variety and growth opportunities that you won't find anywhere else.

You'll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front. This means dealing with both client expectations and internal challenges – in other words, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference, and a lot of people will witness your contributions. Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Solid exposure to Linux systems administration (Red Hat preferred)
• Advanced scripting skills in Bash and Python – mandatory
• Advanced Knowledge of GoAnywhere MFT – mandatory
• Fluent written and spoken Italian
• Basic understanding of English (written and spoken)

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Familiarity with protocols such as SSH, Samba, and SSL/TLS certificates
• Basic knowledge of web application servers (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WAS)
• Ability to use Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting
• Experience with virtualization tasks using VMware (installation, configuration of virtual machines)
