R&D Technologist

Product Development

• Ensure that all assigned formulations and experiments are scientifically sound, repeatable, and aligned with quality and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to developing, reformulating, and improving products that meet performance, safety, and customer expectations.
• Guarantee compliance with internal test methods (ITMs), calibration procedures (ICMs), and corporate standards.
• Uphold strong laboratory data integrity and traceability in all formulations and tests.

Technical Excellence 

• Identify technical issues in formulations or processes and propose data‑driven solutions.
• Use analytical thinking and methodical approaches to interpret experimental data and guide project direction.

Project Ownership 

• Plan personal project timelines, adjusting activities based on feedback from the manager or group leader.
• Provide scientifically grounded recommendations and influence technical decisions through clear, data‑backed communication.
• Manage assigned development tasks efficiently while respecting deadlines, quality criteria, and laboratory priorities.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment, strictly following safety procedures and regulations.

Collaboration & Team Contribution

• Act as a technical resource for colleagues, sharing knowledge and supporting collective problem‑solving.
• Contribute to fostering a collaborative, respectful, and efficient R&D laboratory environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in coatings and/or plastics, plus in colorimetry (color matching, acceptance, measurement).
• Knowledge of chemicals, substrates, pigments, and coating application processes.
• Ability to run lab experiments, scale‑ups, pilot batches, comparative testing, and use color‑measurement tools.
• Strong documentation, data‑analysis, computer, and basic math skills.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability, clear technical communication.
• Teamwork, autonomy, organization, attention to detail, and adaptability in a dynamic R&D environment.
• Safety‑oriented attitude and curiosity for continuous learning.
• Ability to communicate in English at least at an intermediate level (B2 or higher).
• Preferred: Bachelor or Masters Degree in a Chemistry‑related field.
