Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with 4-5 years of experience to join our team and contribute to innovative projects in the space field.

As a Software Embedded Engineer, you will work on complex embedded systems for space applications, contributing to the design, development, and integration of mission-critical software in C++. Specifically, you will be responsible for: - Analyzing system requirements and deriving software requirements; - Designing software architecture and defining interfaces between subsystems; - Developing embedded software in C++, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security; - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for software integration and testing; - Managing software configuration (version control) and technical documentation.

What we expect from you

• Master's degree in computer, electronic, aerospace engineering or similar fields;
• 4-5 years of experience in embedded software development with C++;
• Familiarity with real-time environments and embedded operating systems (e.g., VxWorks, QNX, Linux RT);
• Experience in software testing (unit, integration) and debugging activities;
• Fluent knowledge of Italian and English.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in aerospace or defense sectors;
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation;
• Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, SPI, UART);
• Experience with modeling tools (UML, SysML);
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards (e.g., ECSS, DO-178C).
