Lead the
development
of
innovative esters
and
functional ingredients
in this exciting new role that just opened at one of the most recognized multinationals in the cosmetic industry.

Reporting directly to the Product Development Director and the R&D Manager, you'll be
at the heart of updating and developing the cosmetic ingredients portfolio
: selecting promising ingredients and helping to scale-up from lab to plant.

This is an opportunity with an
international scope
As a Senior R&D Chemist you will be based at the italian HQ, between Bergamo and Milan, but will play an active role in
team-working and sharing knowledge across global équipes abroad.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and evaluate new cosmetic ingredients
  • Synthesis of new ingredients
  • Collaborate with Product Management to assess feasibility and market relevance
  • Support scale-up from lab to plant and troubleshoot implementation
  • Engage with cross-functional teams across Italy and the UK


Requirements

  • Degree in Organic Chemistry
  • 5+ years of direct experience in research and development of cosmetic raw materials/ingredients
  • Expertise in esters and functional ingredient chemistry
  • Experience scaling up from lab to plant
  • Fluent in Italian and English
