IP/Datacom Solution Manager

Milan, Italy

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the Sales and Marketing team on pre-sales activities and support the design of technical customer solutions;

• Promote Huawei Datacom Solutions in the Italy Enterprise market;

• Provide full product line specifications and stay updated on the complete products and solution offerings;

• Independently gain insights into customers, develop the solution, network design, bidding, and quotation for multiple products;

• Provide consultancy support to the partners on designing networking solutions;

• Partner skill training and enhancement, drive partner opportunities in order to contribute to increased sales volumes;

• Collect and analyze competitors' information, participate in developing and executing competition strategy;

• Execute the brand marketing activities following established branding strategies;

• Attend industry events related to technology forums and industry presentations.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience as pre-sale in IP/Datacom area;

• Familiar with IP products and solutions such as Router, Switch, WLAN, Security etc.;

• Have solid planning and design experiences in enterprise IP network or datacenter is preferred;

• Technical Certification in IP or other relevant area, professional level or higher e.g. CCNP/CCIE;

• Participation and experience in large complex projects;

• Understanding of internetworking (IP/MPLS), transmission, switching and service creation/provisioning;

• Fluent in Italian and English.
