The Golf Sales Representative drives year-over-year sales growth in the Golf Course Maintenance Line of Business. They work closely with Golf Course Superintendents to lend technical agronomic support on a regular basis. Golf Sales Representatives work in conjunction with their local branch to deliver products in a timely manner that help superintendents succeed. 

What you'll do:

• Initiate sales calls with customers.
• Develop a territory plan to service existing customer base and grow new customers.
• Participate in local GCSA events.
• Work closely with local SiteOne stores to develop product stocking assortments.
• Assist branches with deliveries of time sensitive orders.
• Work with local manufacturer representatives to keep customers informed on new product offers.
• Coordinate new/existing customer/employee training sessions and product demonstrations with vendors to deepen customer solution knowledge, and employee product knowledge.
• Leverage solution-focused sales tools and processes to increase sales closure rates.
• Partner with leadership and Field Support to understand the impact of emerging technologies and ways of working on business performance and actively support and lead their implementation.
• Territory will include Collier County and a portion of Lee County.
• This position will involve some overnight travel.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience of on course golf experience. 
• Proven in-depth technical knowledge of golf maintenance products and the product lines offered by SiteOne.
• Ability to communicate value proposition using professional presentation and public speaking methods.
• Must possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College degree preferred.
