Senior Backend Developer

Die LEG ist mit rund Mietwohnungen und rund Bewohnern ein führendes börsennotiertes Wohnungsunternehmen in Deutschland. Das Unternehmen unterhält in seinem Stammland Nordrhein-Westfalen sieben Niederlassungen und ist an ausgewählten Standorten in weiteren westdeutschen Bundesländern mit persönlichen Ansprechpartnern vor Ort vertreten. Aus ihrem Kerngeschäft Vermietung und Verpachtung erzielte die LEG im Geschäftsjahr 2020 Erlöse von rund 861 Millionen Euro. Im Rahmen ihrer 2018 gestarteten Neubauoffensive möchte die LEG einen gesellschaftlichen Beitrag zur Schaffung von sowohl frei finanziertem als auch öffentlich gefördertem Wohnraum leisten und ab 2023 jährlich mindestens 500 Neubauwohnungen errichten bzw. ankaufen.

Senior Backend Developer (d/w/m) in Azure / .NET C# 

Diese Aufgaben bieten wir:

• Du entwickelst skalierbare und zuverlässige Backend-Services für unsere Cloud-native IoT-Plattform, wirkst aktiv an der Systemarchitektur mit und wählst passende Technologien aus
• Die Verantwortung für komplette Features oder Services von der Konzeption über die Umsetzung bis zum Betrieb bträgst du eigenständig
• Gemeinsam mit Data Scientists optimierst du Algorithmen, arbeitest eng mit Frontend-Kolleg:innen zusammen und lässt Nutzer-Feedback gezielt in die Weiterentwicklung einfließen
• Du nutzt moderne IoT-Technologien wie LoRaWAN, um leistungsfähige und innovative Lösungen zu schaffen
• Durch kontinuierliches Debugging und Troubleshooting sorgst du für Stabilität, Ausfallsicherheit und Wartbarkeit unserer Systeme

Dieses Profil suchen wir:

• Du bringst mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Backend-Entwicklung mit C# sowie .NET und in der professionellen B2B-Softwareentwicklung mit
• Mit Datenbanken wie PostgreSQL und CosmosDB kennst du dich aus
• Du hast Erfahrung mit Domain-Driven Design, Event-Streaming-Architekturen und modernen Messaging-Technologien im Produktionsbetrieb
• Du hast bereits im IoT-Bereich gearbeitet, idealerweise mit direkter Erfahrung in LoRaWAN-Projekten, und kennst Muster für Ausfallsicherheit, Elastizität und Reaktionsfähigkeit (Reactive Manifesto)
• Gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens B2) und fließendes Englisch runden dein Profil ab 
• Du arbeitest gerne im Team, kommunizierst klar und übernimmst Verantwortung für deine Aufgaben

What your tasks will be:

• You develop scalable and reliable backend services for our cloud-native IoT platform, contribute to the system architecture, and select the right technologies
• Full ownership of complete features or services from concept through implementation to ongoing operation is yours
• You collaborate closely with data scientists to optimize algorithms, work hand in hand with frontend teams, and actively integrate user feedback into new features
• By leveraging modern IoT technologies such as LoRaWAN you create powerful, innovative solutions
• You ensure stability, resilience, and maintainability of our systems through continous debugging and troubleshooting

Your profile should be:

• You have several years of experience in backend development with C# as well as .NET and in professional B2B software development
• Databases such as PostgreSQL and CosmosDB are familiar territory for you 
• You have applied domain-driven design, event streaming architectures, and modern messaging technologies in production environments
• Experience in the IoT field, ideally with LoRaWAN projects, allow you to design reliable, elastic, annd responsive systems (Reacitive Manifesto)
• Good German skills (at least B2) and fluency in English complete your profile
• You enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly and take responsibility for your tasks
