About the job Jacket Engineering Coordinator - (Offshore) - Energy, Oil & Gas Project
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the design and engineering of jacket structures for offshore oil and gas projects in the MENA and Europe regions.
- Review project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and efficient designs.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that all design and engineering activities are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that jacket structures are constructed in accordance with the approved designs.
- Work closely with procurement teams to source materials and equipment for jacket construction.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the design and construction process.
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks or issues that may arise during the design and construction of jacket structures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, standards, and regulations related to jacket engineering.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in jacket engineering for offshore oil and gas projects.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to jacket design and construction.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
