Nerviano (MI), Italy | Pharmaceutical (GMP) | On-site

Engagement duration: 3–5 years

We are supporting a pharmaceutical project in Nerviano
and are looking for a
Site Head
to lead on-site execution and coordinate activities across functions and contractors.

As Site Head, you will be the senior on-site point of contact, ensuring day-to-day delivery, alignment across teams, and execution against project milestones in a
GMP-regulated
environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall site execution and act as the primary on-site interface for the client, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Construction, Automation, QA, CQV/Validation, HSE, Operations) to keep scope, timeline, and priorities aligned
• Drive planning, issue resolution, and escalation management; remove roadblocks and keep decisions moving
• Ensure GMP expectations and internal quality standards are met throughout execution
• Monitor contractor/supplier performance and provide clear progress reporting (KPIs, milestones, risks)
• Support audits/inspections and ensure proper documentation and handover to operations

Key criteria

• Senior site
  leadership experience in pharma
• Strong understanding of
  GMP
  project execution and quality expectations
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders in fast-paced projects
• Pragmatic, delivery-focused, and hands-on approach
• Italian is required,
  f
  luent English;
• On-site presence in Nerviano is required

Nice to have

• Engineering foundation (Electrical / Automation / Mechanical) and confidence managing technical interfaces on site
