Mission
RINA Consulting is looking for a Software Application Engineer focused on designing, developing and testing software applications that align with customer needs. The ideal candidate has a full-stack attitude in software development and a passion for building scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications.

Key Accountabilities
Software Development:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software development best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and implementation plans.

Testing and Deployment:

  • Debug the implemented application software
  • Support the V&V team during testing and validation activities for defect analysis
  • Analyze and solve detected problems implementing the needed corrections

Documentation:

  • Document sw requirements, design decisions, APIs, and implementation details.
  • Maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to the software applications.

Support and Maintenance:

  • technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Qualifications

  • Good experience as a Software Engineer or Software Application Engineer, with a track record of delivering high-quality software applications.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as C/C++, Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with desktop application development frameworks (e.g., MS Visual Studio, VS Code, Eclipse) and/or web application development frameworks(Spring, Django, React, Angular, PrimeFaces).
  • Familiarity with database technologies (Oracle, SQL server, postgresql,...).
  • Understanding of software engineering life cycle and development best practices, like version control systems (e.g., Git).
