Test Factory Associate Manager

What you'll do:

• Join the QA & Testing team as a senior leader, overseeing cross-team test coordination and driving strategic quality initiatives;
• Manage a team of approximately 25 QA professionals (onshore and offshore), providing guidance, direction, and support for their professional development;
• Supervise testing activities across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with business goals, process consistency, and adherence to quality standards;
• Prepare and deliver executive-level reports and presentations (PPT, dashboards, KPIs) to senior and top management, highlighting project test status and quality insights;
• Monitor and analyze key QA metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect rate, automation ratio), and lead data-driven improvement initiatives;
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and Business stakeholders to define and implement effective test strategies;
• Support test process optimization through the promotion of test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices;
• Provide methodological guidance to QA Team Leaders and help standardize test processes across streams;
• Actively contribute to the definition and execution of the overall QA roadmap within the department.

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Test Management within complex software programs and multi-team environments;
• Strong skills in test reporting, metrics analysis, and the creation of high-impact executive presentations;
• Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, and BI/dashboard platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau);
• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environments;
• Technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, Agile/Waterfall processes, and test automation frameworks;
• Demonstrated leadership, proactive problem-solving, and strategic thinking;
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken;
• ISTQB Test Manager or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
