Within GOSP, we are seeking an experienced Head of GCOO & GOSP Health & Safety to lead and oversee all Health & Safety (H&S) initiatives across our organization's seven countries. This strategic leadership role ensures compliance with international and local regulations, fosters a strong safety culture, and drives continuous improvement in workplace health and safety standards.

The job holder can be based in Milan or Mogliano Veneto.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Ensuring that global and local Health & Safety (H&S) regulations are correctly interpreted and implemented across all regions
  • Advising Employers and Delegated Managers on compliance strategies and best practices
  • Identifying and mitigating workplace risks through structured plans, in coordination with Health & Safety Officers (RSPPs)
  • Leading strategic safety projects and defining standards for equipment, office layout, training, and health surveillance
  • Overseeing operational safety measures across sites, monitoring internal teams and external providers for compliance
  • Developing emergency response plans, conducting evacuation drills, and managing crises like fires or health emergencies
  • Continuously improving H&S processes and training programs, aligning with evolving regulations and organizational needs

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years in Health & Safety management within international companies (experience in the IT sector and data center environments will be considered a plus)
  • Proven expertise in ISO 45001 implementation and auditing
  • Strong knowledge of global H&S regulations and risk management methodologies
  • NEBOSH – International General Certificate
  • Proven track record in driving safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Fluent English (mandatory)

  • Ability to lead cross-country teams and manage complex projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
