Position title: Sr. Technical Instructor, Sales & Service, Power Management EMEA

Generic Job Summary

As  Technical Instructor, you will design Power Management courses and deliver effective and complete learning experiences to Vertiv Technical Sales, Vertiv Sales, Vertiv Customer Engineers, Distributors and Customers. Moreover you will be nurturing and continuously growing the network of the Academy Power Management Local Trainers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities


•    Work with Power Management and Service Business Units to agree on training priorities and learning objectives as well as to ensure continue technical handover from Global Training team and from regional Engineering;

•    Define the contents of Technical courses, working with the Global Training team; where appropriate, drive the activities of a technical committee in order to collaborative make decisions and approve training content and material;

•    Define, prepare and update the training material covering the power product portfolio: online theoretical material and tests, multimedia tools, procedures, residential classroom material and practical exercises, final tests; trainer's additional material and teaching notes; support the creation of TKO documentation;

•    Create specific learning paths according to audience type (Sales, Technical Sales, Customer Engineers), gathering different needs and expectations, working together with Senior members of each team for  promoting knowledge and experience sharing. 

•    Create and deliver First Responder Trainings for Customers. 

•    Successfully and effectively deliver training sessions in blended learning: remote self-learning, residential classroom, final exams and diploma ceremony; if needed, deliver courses in other training centres or sites;

•    Deliver Train the Trainers sessions and the local Trainer's Accreditation process;

•    Maintain the Castelguelfo (BO) Training Area and the demo units at their best for welcoming students and providing effective and complete training experiences; support local trainers for their relevant Training Areas set up and accreditation;

•    Participate in unconventional educational activities (outdoor etc);
