Instock & Supply Chain Manager, POD, EU Books

We are looking for a talented, smart and highly analytical Instock & Supply Chain Manager with passion to secure product availability and speed by driving innovation in our EU Print on Demand (POD) Supply Chain.

Key job responsibilities
- Full end-to-end ownership of the Books POD Supply Chain across Europe
- Control and optimize Supply Chain inputs to maximize efficiency within the EU operational print cells
- Closely collaborate with your WW counterparts and stakeholders to drive innovation
- Drive maximum product availability while trading-off between healthy inventory levels and speed while developing sourcing strategies considering both Amazon internal and market external printing sources
- Improve operational Supply Chain cost through product and process improvement
- Evaluate and simplify large data sets to identify system enhancement opportunities and make clear recommendations for business actions
- Drive development of metrics and analytics: audit existing metrics, suggest new KPIs to track continuous improvement, and challenge action plans to ensure high operational and quality standards
- Join forces with multiple stakeholders, including Tech teams, Vendor Management and Operations, at all levels of the organization
- Proactively analyze customer anecdotes to ensure development of key features to drive customer experience and profitability

To be successful in this role you will need to excel in Ownership, Bias for Action and Dive Deep while Earning Trust with multiple stakeholders in order to drive your projects forward and Deliver Results. You will also need to be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and simplifying complex problems to drive continuous improvement in the business. Finally, you will have experience of stakeholder and project management and be effective in communication and relationship building at all levels of the organization.

The role will report to the Head of Supply Chain within the EU Books organization and can be based across EU in Luxembourg, London, Munich, Paris, Milan or Madrid.

Basic Qualifications:
- University degree required, ideally in a technical or analytical discipline
- Several years of track record in taking Ownership, Delivering Results and moving with speed to implement ideas in Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or Consulting
- Able to express complex technical and business systems as well as processes in effective communication adequate to target audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Expert knowledge of Excel, happy to deal with large sets of data to identify trends and issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in BI tools e.g. Tableau, Quicksight and management reporting
- Ability to write SQL queries
- Experience in Retail and/or eCommerce
