As an HR Business Partner at Gate, you'll be the strategic connector between people and business growth. This role goes beyond traditional HR—it's about driving talent strategies that accelerate expansion across Europe, shaping a culture that thrives in a start-up environment, and ensuring operational excellence as we scale. You'll work closely with leadership to translate business goals into actionable HR initiatives, champion change, and create a workplace where innovation and agility are the norm.

- Day to day:
- Partner with the Gate leadership to align HR initiatives with business growth and expansion goals.
- Drive talent acquisition strategies to support scaling operations and entry into new markets.
- Develop workforce planning and succession strategies for critical roles in a growing organization.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including new systems, processes, and cultural integration.
- Monitor employee engagement and implement programs that foster retention and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws while harmonizing HR practices across multiple countries (Italy, France and Germany) with further expansion opportunities.
- Provide data-driven insights and HR analytics to inform strategic decisions on growth and workforce optimization.
- Support with operational tasks.

Essentials
- At least 7 years of experience as an HRBP in dynamic and complex environments (ideally a combination of start-up and structured companies).
- Strong knowledge of Italian labour laws and employee relations practices.
- Proven experience in strategic HR management and business transformation.
- Ability to translate business strategy into HR initiatives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability.
- Ability to operate with agility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to work independently, without the support of a local HR team.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
