Location: Hybrid - Mrieħel, Malta or Remote from Europe

This position reports to the Head of Compliance and will play a key role in building a newly established compliance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Business Due Diligence (KYB) on partners, affiliates, suppliers, and other third parties.

  • Review and assess corporate structures, UBOs, ownership and control frameworks.

  • Perform risk assessments for new and existing business relationships, including EDD where required.

  • Support the onboarding and periodic review of third parties from an AML and sanctions perspective.

  • Screen entities and individuals for sanctions, PEPs, adverse media, and other risk indicators

  • Investigate and escalate high-risk findings and potential suspicious activity.

  • Support the preparation of internal escalation reports.

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of KYB, third-party due diligence, and AML policies.

  • Support regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.

What You Bring
  • 2+ years' experience in  Due Diligence, KYC/ KYB, AML, preferably within iGaming or a regulated industry.

  • Hands-on experience conducting corporate due diligence is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with Worldcheck or a comparable tool.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and document AML risk

  • High attention to detail and sound professional judgement

  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding and review cases in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
