Under broad supervision, coordinates, diagnoses and troubleshoots incoming employee calls. Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. Provides timely resolution of moderately complex problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. Supports and maintains effective relationships with users. May develop or document standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to IT support. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.

Main duties

- Infrastructure

  • Provide installation and configuration of HW & SW, all computers, laptops, cameras, printers, readers and other accessories

  • Ensure regular checks and maintenance of equipment, resolve any technical issues or complaints

  • Handle company IT equipment records (inventory, reporting)

  • Work closely with the global IT team

  • Ensure adherence to set standards, maintain documentation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

- JDEdwards/ERP

  • Provide first level support for users in JDE in the case of issues

  • User account and right administration.

  • Mass data modifications

  • Run SQL scripts on the Oracle DB.

  • Support ERP update & cloud migration

Responsibilities and accountabilities

- Infrastructure:

  • Setting up new users and granting access rights

  • Controlling auctioning on internal devices

  • HW and SW security of devices

  • Managing and accessing the company server room

- JDE / ERP:

  • Setting up users and granting access rights

  • Provide first level support for JDE

Required qualifications, knowledge and experience/competence

- General:

  • good Italien and basic English language skills - ability to hold conversations with the global IT team

  • High school education, minimum of 6 months experience in a similar position

  • Willingness to learn new things, interest in modern technology

- Infrastructure:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows server environment, Active Directory domain structures and network protocols

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop environments and MS Office products

- JDEdwards / ERP:

  • Basic knowledge of processes in JDE

  • Basic knowledge of user accounts and rights administration

  • Basic knowledge of development in JDE
