The role is responsible for managing technology-related project objectives and deliverables within the wider Individual Giving (IG) portfolio, applying agreed project management approaches to ensure effective planning, delivery, and governance. Acting on behalf of the Tech function, the role coordinates and facilitates project meetings to assess, scope, scale, and prioritise initiatives, working closely with the Tech Lead to manage team capacity, resource availability, and competing priorities

The role provides regular reporting to the project board on progress against agreed tolerances, identifying risks and issues early and proposing corrective actions where projects move out of tolerance. It develops and manages key milestones across assigned projects, including those spanning multiple IG teams, ensuring effective traffic management and strategic prioritisation throughout the year so that objectives are delivered on time and to plan.

Working collaboratively across acquisition, supporter care, insights, operations, and relevant external partners, the role supports the development of project plans and materials, enabling smooth delivery against budget, schedule, and quality requirements. It ensures that all IT solutions are registered at inception in line with organisational guidelines, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on solution lifecycle status, ownership, and focal points for review and governance purposes.

The role actively manages project risks, taking action to mitigate issues related to scope creep, resource constraints, or conflicting priorities, and escalates to IG Leads where delivery is at risk due to capacity or dependency challenges. Through strong coordination, governance, and stakeholder engagement, the role supports consistent, well-prioritised, and effective delivery of Tech-enabled IG initiatives.
