Role description:

Arcadis is looking for an EHS Consultant that will supports our clients in achieving compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. You will deliver expert consulting services, conduct audits, and assist with legal tracking, training, and due diligence. Your role includes identifying risks, recommending corrective actions, and helping to implement strategies across a variety of commercial and industrial projects together with your team.

Role accountabilities:

  • H&S Compliance audits aimed at assessing H&S compliance against local legislation, internal clients and European standards.
  • H&S consulting services 
  • Development and implementation of legal tracking systems, H&S training.
  • H&S Due Diligences
  • Identification of potential H&S costs and definition of corrective actions to meet legislative requirements and associated costs, also in the frame of pre-acquisition, merge and divestiture projects of commercial and industrial sites. 
  • Development and implementation of H&S integrated management systems. 
     

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in H&S Compliance Audits, H&S Due Diligences and related consultancy services.
  • Studies: Degree in Engineering, Geology or Environmental Sciences.
  • A very good (B2) level of English and Italian.
  • Knowledge of current Italian legislation framework regarding H&S requirements.
  • Development, implementation, and auditing of Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO and Safety (ISO Management Systems.
  • Excellent abilities of analysis and synthesis.
  • Excellent relationship skills and teamwork attitude. 
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
