About the role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They're among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

We're looking for an Operational Risk Manager to work closely with the Head of Risk and key stakeholders across the company. You'll use data to track risk exposures and keep improving our risk management framework and governance structures.

What you'll be doing

• Working with the first line of defence (1LoD) to identify, assess, document, and review risks of all types
• Providing oversight in the design, implementation, and effectiveness testing of controls
• Developing and implementing risk policies, risk procedures, key risk indicators, and risk appetite statement
• Monitoring risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports to management and relevant stakeholders
• Working with local and global stakeholders in the risk incident management process, including registration of risk events, investigation and root cause analysis, and producing reports
• Participation in the local New Initiatives Approval Process, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and governance
• Facilitating appropriate risk awareness and risk culture amongst team members
• Supporting audits and regulatory inquiries related to operational risk

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in risk management or a related role within financial services
• A bachelor's degree
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
• Great critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently while managing concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities

Nice to have

• Proficiency with SQL
• An understanding of financial services regulations
• Knowledge of fintech products, processes, and technologies
• Experience in operational risk capital calculation and the ICAAP process
• A master's degree
• Professional certifications (e.g., PRMIA)
