YOUR IMPACT

As an AI Transformation Lead, you will play a key role in identifying high-impact opportunities, shaping early solution concepts, and delivering applied AI capabilities that enhance workflows and accelerate business performance across OpenText. 

This role blends strong product instincts, technical depth, and strategic thinking. You will work closely with business units and technical teams to frame the right problems, explore modern AI evaluate feasibility, define KPIs, build prototypes and contribute to processes that scale AI responsibly across the enterprise. 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Turn business challenges into AI opportunities, partner with business units to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and value drivers. Frame ambiguous problems into structured AI use cases with clear requirements and measurable outcomes, translating business needs into actionable technical approaches and early prototypes.Shape early strategy inputs and capability planning, provide insight and analysis that inform AI strategy, prioritization, and domain-level roadmaps. Identify opportunities where automation, generative AI, agentic patterns, or intelligent workflows can transform operations, contributing research, benchmarking, and strategic artifacts.Create repeatable processes and frameworks, build and refine playbooks, evaluation templates, lifecycle guidance, and reusable patterns that enable consistent and responsible delivery. Strengthen quality across the enterprise AI lifecycle and maintain documentation that supports discovery, prototyping, validation, and adoption.Drive hands-on applied AI innovation, rapidly prototype AI solutions, agentic workflows, multimodal models, and predictive ML. Validate feasibility, accuracy, performance, and scalability, and experiment with emerging techniques to keep OpenText at the forefront of applied AI.Collaborate across engineering, data, product, and business teams, partner with cross-functional stakeholders to shape solution direction and ensure alignment between technical design and business needs. Communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences and influence decisions through structured, compelling insights.Advance an AI-first culture, contribute to internal enablement through best practices, training materials, and knowledge sharing. Promote responsible AI principles, encourage citizen innovation, and support experimentation that builds confidence and capability across the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Product-minded, with 5+ years of experience breaking down complex business challenges, articulating clear value hypotheses, and translating them into well-structured AI initiatives that guide solution design, prioritization, and delivery.Experienced in applied AI delivery, having led and delivered AI/ML, NLP, LLM, or agentic solutions end-to-end, with a strong understanding of how to balance feasibility, performance, responsible design, and business impact.An innovation-driven builder, comfortable exploring emerging AI capabilities, rapidly prototyping solutions, and grounding experimentation in practical, measurable value.Skilled in designing scalable systems and approaches, creating processes, frameworks, playbooks, and reusable methodologies that enable consistent, efficient AI delivery across the full lifecycle.A clear communicator, able to translate technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives that help engineers, business leaders, and executives make informed decisions.Highly collaborative, thriving in cross-functional environments and partnering across engineering, data, product, operations, and business teams to build alignment and momentum.Holding a master's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, data science, mathematics, business, or a related discipline supporting analytical thinking, applied AI development, and strategic problem-solving.

As you move through the hiring process, we're happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
