Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for a Fleet Operation Coordinator.

The Fleet Operation Coordinator. will be working together with the Fleet Operation Manager on the Fleet Operations Project, focusing on the management of vehicle fleet.

He or she will be part of the Transport team, responsible for reliable, sustainable and efficient transport services to, from and around the cluster area.

  • Develop operational procedures related to the management of the vehicle fleet for Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, with particular reference to the interaction at the Cluster level between the operations centers, depots,vehicles delivery and pickup services.
  • Establish excellent relationships with representatives of institutional entities such as regions and provinces within the relevant transport cluster.
  • Responsible for the daily monitoring of operational activities in their cluster before and during the Olympic Games, ensuring their correct execution.
  • Define and implement operational manuals related to the vehicle fleet in their respective cluster.
    Determine and ensure different service levels for the relevant stakeholders in coordination with other functional units

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of transportation and mobility in the context of international events is preferable

  • problem-solver in critical situations
  • Proven experience in planning, implementing, and managing complex vehicle mobility plans
  • English: level C1 or equivalent certification;
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Bachelor degree
  • Experience in planning and operational management in the transportation division for sporting or non-sporting events of international interest
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with clients and suppliers and good negotiation skills in complex and articulated contexts.
