Posizione:

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with a strong technical background and a product-oriented mindset to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team on an innovative project developed by Startup Bakery.

This role is both hands-on and strategic: you will guide technical decisions, coordinate a cross-functional team (backend, frontend, design, and data), and ensure that business requirements are translated into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the main technical point of contact between business, product, and engineering.
  • Translate business needs and product requirements into clear technical architectures and implementation plans.
  • Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team including backend and frontend engineers, a product designer, and a data engineer.
  • Define and evolve the overall system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Support the team with hands-on development and code reviews when needed.
  • Drive technical decision-making, prioritization, and trade-offs in collaboration with stakeholders.
Requisiti:

Must-have

  • Solid background in software engineering (backend-oriented preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with previous experience as Tech Lead or Senior Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of modern web architectures, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data-driven systems.
  • Experience coordinating or mentoring small, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Good knowledge of agile methodologies and related tools, preferably Scrum and Jira.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic, product-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering real business value.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working in startups or early-stage products.
  • Familiarity with data platforms, analytics pipelines, or AI-enabled products.
