Main Responsibilities

As a Content Editor, you will be an integral member of the editorial team, responsible for creating engaging, relevant, and high-quality content that aligns with the competition's identity and objectives.

  • Conduct thorough research on assigned topics to ensure accuracy, depth, and relevance of all content.
  • Develop a wide range of content (programs, escaletas, audiovisual projects, etc.) tailored to the audience of each project.
  • Adapt tone, style, and complexity to match the specific needs and preferences of the target audience.
  • Proofread and edit both your own and colleagues' work to guarantee grammatical accuracy, stylistic consistency, and overall quality.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content supports the competition's strategy and project goals.
  • Work in partnership with the Broadcast team during preparation days, rehearsals, and live streams, ensuring a smooth and accurate workflow of broadcast assets.
  • Manage priorities effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining a steady pipeline of high-quality content.
  • Monitor trends, audience behaviors, and industry developments to keep content relevant and impactful.
  • Contribute original and creative ideas for new formats and innovative content proposals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Content Editor or in a similar role (agency or in-house).
  • Degree in Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, or a related field.
  • Availability to work on weekends when required.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Flexibility to adapt within fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently with initiative.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with a problem-solving attitude.
