PGS Group has been active in the wood packaging industry for 30 years. Due to further expansion we are looking for a Customer Service Officer.

What tasks will you perform?

  • Entering customer orders into ERP software for the various PGS sites.
  • Follow up orders with the production team to ensure timely processing.
  • Collaborate with different internal departments such as Sales, Production and Logistics.
  • Checking quotations and processing them in our ERP package.
  • Update prices to maintain up-to-date pricing information.
  • Registration and follow-up of non-conformities.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales department.
  • Proactively manage and develop sales with existing customers.
  • Actively research and approach new potential clients.
  • Acting as a point of contact for customers with questions about deliveries, rush orders and other matters.
  • Following up on customers/telephone contacts.
  • Coordinate transport planning in consultation with the logistics department.
  • Monitoring delivery times at carriers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Supporting and contributing to the sustainable business values of the organization.

Who are we looking for?

  • In possession of a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent by experience.
  • You speak and write fluently in Italian, English and/or French. Knowledge of German is a big plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You have strong analytical insight and organizational talent.
  • Thinks problem-solving with a commercial flair.
  • You are very customer-friendly.
  • You are stress resistant and manage your time efficiently.
  • You work independently and accurately, with an eye for quality.
  • You have a 'work hard, play hard' mentality.
  • You are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances.
  • You are enterprising, respectful and result-oriented.
  • Can work independently, but is also a team player.
  • Not only propagates the sustainable business values of the organization in the performance of the job, but also actively applies them in the roll-out of the process and any negotiations that lead to optimizations
