About Sebago

Established in 1946, Sebago was created to meet the consumer demand for quality, casual footwear. The brand's founder owned five independent shoe stores in Maine and was determined to keep them stocked. The original shoe they made, the Sebago Classic beefroll penny loafer, is still handsewn with the finest craftsmanship today, just as it was back then.

Who We're Looking For

For our
Sebago Brand
we are looking for a
Product Developer
to join the
BasicNet Group HQ in Turin.

The resource will be part of the Sebago Design Team in order to manage the development activities between the product development phase and the production phase.

The ideal candidate has an analytical mind, has no problem handling numbers and codes and has a natural aptitude for solving problems and managing small processes. A disposition for creativity and passion for the fashion industry will be considered a plus.

Key Responsabilities

• Control of data relating to product launches;
• Digital archiving of materials;
• Code management on the corporate IT platform;
• Coding of product components;
• Material-color combination control;
• Scouting for new materials.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required

• Graduate in Product Design or Fashion Design or high school diploma (professional technical institute and similar);
• Proficiency in MS Office applications;
• Knowledge of Design Software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of 3D software is a plus;
• Good knowledge of English, both writtend and verbal; knowledge of French and Spanish are a plus.

Placement in an extracurricular internship.
