About the Job

As a Solution Architect at Allianz Technology, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and innovative IT solutions that align with Allianz's business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Your role will involve ensuring the integration of various systems and technologies, optimizing performance, and maintaining security standards. You will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects.

What you do

Design and develop comprehensive IT solutions that meet business needs and align with Allianz's strategic goals, including scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based solutions on AWS and/or Azure platforms.Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, patterns, and technical specifications, while collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Guide development teams in implementing architectural decisions and best practices, defining integration strategies between various systems, services, and external platforms.Establish standards for cloud resource provisioning, security configurations, and infrastructure as code, and develop data modeling strategies optimized for MongoDB's document-oriented structure.Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system health and performance, leading architectural reviews and governance to maintain system integrity and alignment with business goals.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to improve system capabilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in architecture and design.Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance system intelligence and automation capabilities.

What you bring

Over 7 years of experience in software architecture and system design, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience, and proven experience designing and implementing solutions with MongoDB at scale.Deep expertise in cloud architecture on AWS and/or Azure platforms, with proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems, along with experience in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to cloud development, with knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.Understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, and CDNs, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical considerations with business requirements, ensuring effective solution design and implementation.Ability to integrate technical expertise with business needs, leveraging deep knowledge of cloud architecture and development practices to drive strategic initiatives.
