As our European operations continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Tax Manager/Specialist
to join our finance team in Italy in Mediolan or Turin.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all local and international tax regulations while developing effective tax strategies that support the company's growth and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage corporate tax filings, including
    Value-Added Tax (VAT)
    and
    Corporate Income Tax (CIT)
    .
  • Identify potential tax and business risks, and develop practical solutions to address them.
  • Oversee all aspects of the company's tax compliance and ensure timely filing and payments.
  • Provide strategic
    tax planning and advisory support
    to minimize tax liabilities and optimize business outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with
    external tax advisors
    and liaise with
    tax authorities
    as required.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and evaluate their impact on the company's operations.
  • Support and manage
    tax audits
    , ensuring proper documentation and effective risk control.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance teams during month-end and year-end closings.
  • Prepare and maintain tax reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or related field
    ; a
    CPA or equivalent qualification
    is an advantage.
  • Minimum
    5 years of professional experience
    in tax management or tax advisory, ideally gained within a multinational organization or a Big Four firm.
  • Strong understanding of
    Italian and international tax regulations
    .
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in
    ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
    and
    Microsoft Office Suite
    .
  • Fluent in
    Italian, English
    and
    Chinese.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships.
