Veolia Water Technologies (WT) is seeking an experienced and driven Industrial Water Technologies Sales Manager to contribute to the growth and development of our EPP (Engineering, Procurement, and Project), T&P (Technologies & Products), and MWIS business lines in Italy's industrial market, with a primary focus on Veolia's 10 Industrial Priority Markets. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new industrial business opportunities, building strong relationships with industrial clients across priority sectors, and delivering tailored technology solutions to meet their water and wastewater treatment needs. You will embody Veolia's 5 values of Responsibility, Solidarity, Respect, Innovation, and Customer Focus in your daily work, while promoting the company's technology portfolio and commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand Veolia WT's EPP, T&P, and MWIS business lines in the Italian industrial market, focusing on Veolia's 10 Industrial Priority Markets and new industrial customer acquisition with cross-selling opportunities within the existing industrial customer base.
  • Identify and pursue new industrial business opportunities by building strong relationships with industrial clients, plant managers, and decision-makers across priority industrial sectors, understanding their water treatment needs, and proposing tailored technology solutions from Veolia's portfolio that highlight sustainable practices (Customer Focus, Innovation).
  • Build strong relationships with key engineering companies and EPC contractors, promoting the added value of our technologies and establishing strategic partnerships to enhance market penetration and technology adoption in industrial projects (Solidarity, Innovation).
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering, technology development, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery of EPP offerings and maintain high levels of industrial customer satisfaction (Solidarity).
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Italian industrial water and wastewater treatment market, focusing on the 10 Industrial Priority Markets, regulatory requirements, and competitive technology landscape to position Veolia WT as a leading technology provider (Innovation).
  • Achieve ambitious EPP sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals of the industrial technology business across priority industrial sectors (Responsibility).
  • Represent Veolia WT at industrial conferences, sector-specific events, and trade shows, promoting the company's technology capabilities, sustainability initiatives, and strengthening its brand presence in the Italian industrial market (Respect).
  • Collaborate closely with European Industrial Sales Leader as Italy industrial growth strategy must be aligned and take benefits from European-wide practices and technology deployment strategies across priority industrial markets.
  • Leverage synergies within the wider Veolia group to offer comprehensive industrial technology solutions and promote cross-selling opportunities to industrial customers across multiple sectors (Solidarity, Customer Focus).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industrial regulations, company policies, and industry best practices across the 10 Industrial Priority Markets (Responsibility).

Qualifiche

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Environmental, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in industrial water treatment technologies or process engineering solutions across multiple industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully achieving EPP sales targets and contributing to technology business growth in industrial markets, with experience in Veolia's 10 Industrial Priority Markets highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to industrial clients and diverse stakeholders across various sectors (Respect).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify industrial opportunities and develop strategic technology solutions for different industrial applications (Innovation).
  • Proficient in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Italy to industrial sites and facilities across multiple sectors.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering exceptional value to industrial clients across priority market segments (Customer Focus).
  • Knowledge of the Italian industrial water and wastewater treatment market, industrial regulations, sector-specific trends, and sustainability practices across Veolia's 10 Industrial Priority Markets is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Veolia's technology portfolio and EPP capabilities across the group, with specific knowledge of industrial applications (Solidarity).
  • Understanding of industrial procurement processes and complex industrial sales cycles across different sectors.
