Jr. Legal Counsel

To reinforce our legal team both nationally and internationally we are looking for a talented Junior Legal Counsel directly reporting into our Legal Counsel and working closely with the Legal team lead by the Chief Corporate Officer, in our Global Corporate Division.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
:

• Draft, negotiate, and/or review a variety of contracts and other legal documents, such as letters of interest, proposals, and lease agreements, service agreements, proxies, confidentiality agreements, promotional agreements, commercial and/or supply contracts, license agreements, sponsorship/partnership contracts, etc.;
• Assist with corporate secretarial tasks for both the parent company and all foreign subsidiaries;
• Draft and/or review intercompany contracts and other documents produced by external legal consultants in various countries;
• Work on compliance topics, such as data protection and privacy laws, 231 and whistleblowing;
• Supporting with KYC and anti-money laundering requirements;
• Quickly learn about an innovative, increasingly attractive, and rapidly growing sector, working in a friendly, intelligent, and creative environment;
• Work in cross-functional teams, participating in core business projects (e.g., tenders for openings in airports/stations, new product launches, new openings, partnership with delivery companies etc.);
• Draft and review franchise contracts both in Italy and abroad;
• Assist in protection of the brand and IP in general;
• Assisting the Benefit Team with ESG-related matters , drafting the impact report and coordinating new activities for the Benefit Company. ;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Law;
• Previous experience in companies and/or with law firms will be considered a plus;
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite;
• Given the company's rapid expansion beyond national borders, a good command of the English language (both spoken and written) is required, and knowledge of a third language (Spanish, French, and/or Portuguese) is preferred;
• Experience drafting contracts in English.
