Our company

Sysmex Italia is specializing in health technology, specifically in vitro diagnostics. Founded in 2008, it focused its efforts on cancer diagnosis, and have evolved and grow to the haematology sector, supporting healthcare professionals and patients around the world with a broad range of medical diagnostic products and solutions in a variety of fields.

Medical Science Liason Center- Life Science

In this role you will:

Build a bridge between Sysmex and physicians:

  • Develop and maintaining relationships with Key opinion leaders (both clinicians and

    pathologist), medical experts, and lead regional roles on health departments.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of Sysmex's solutions, their clinical value proposition,

    and competitors' scientific approach.
  • Lead meetings with KOLs to discuss relevant scientific literature and address their

    enquiries.
  • Support the medical community with up-to-date medical information, robust disease

    expertise, and product information, while keeping longitudinal disease management

    approach based on patient journey
  • Make educational presentations to senior doctors and researchers.
  • Organize events and programs intending to inform customers and other external

    stakeholders of the latest scientific and medical discoveries enabled by Sysmex's

    solutions.
  • Take part to scientific presentations to physicians, roundtables, and congresses,

    provide conference support, respond to medical information requests and assure field

    support to the sales force and application specialists

Lead the Medical Marketing on assigned territory:

  • Identify key clinical trends, challenges, and competitor's scientific narrative that will

    have an impact on portfolio strategy and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop an understanding of the regional landscape including Key opinion leaders

    (both clinicians and pathologist), key peoples on regional offices, and members of

    regional committees.
  • Generate tactical plans to provide needs based, value-added support of the medical

    and scientific community in-line with company goals.
  • Serve as scientific experts for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with physicians on medical marketing initiatives including publications,

    advisory boards, medical education opportunities, training, and speaker development.
  • Support evidence generation strategy by monitoring Sysmex's clinical evaluations and

    HTA studies, or investigator-initiated research activities.
  • Maintain effective internal relationships by engaging with relevant individuals and

    functions and mobilizing the right internal resources.
  • Plan, implement and finalize the execution of clinical studies together with customers,

    to generate clinical value of Life Science products useful for marketing purposes

Job requirements
  • Degree in human sciences (Medical degree is a strong plus)
  • Native level of Italian and fluent in English
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles
  • Profound knowledge of medical statistics and interpretation of clinical studies
  • Experience supporting field sales and customers.
  • Able to explain scientific complex solutions to all publics
