Senior Medica Liaison Manager, Pipeline

About This Role
As a Senior Medical & Scientific Liaison Manager (Sr MLM) for the Lombardy region, preferably based in Milan, you will be an integral part of the Medical Affairs – Pipeline – Immunology, Rare Disease department. Your role is pivotal in building and maintaining strategic medical-scientific partnerships with Key Medical Experts and other stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of accurate and non-promotional scientific information. You will drive the medical-scientific contribution to our pipeline strategy by creating local medical plans and identifying opportunities to enhance standards of care. Your efforts will support the implementation of national treatment guidelines and ensure comprehensive training on Biogen's upcoming products and therapeutic areas. Additionally, you will contribute to medical education activities, support clinical research initiatives, and provide valuable insights to pipeline cross-functional teams. Your work will be instrumental in developing reimbursement dossiers and ensuring all scientific communications adhere to local regulations, ultimately adding significant value to our business.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Key Medical Experts and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement local medical plans for strategic pipeline contributions.
• Identify opportunities to improve standards of care in the region.
• Support the implementation of national treatment guidelines.
• Conduct internal and external training on future products and therapeutic areas.
• Contribute to medical education activities and clinical research initiatives.
• Provide insights to cross-functional pipeline teams.
• Support the development of reimbursement dossiers.
• Ensure scientific communications comply with local regulations.

Required Skills

• Master's degree or advanced qualification in biomedical, medical, or pharmaceutical disciplines (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
• At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on Medical Affairs or Clinical Research.
• Fluent in English.
• Medical-scientific expertise in Immunology.
• Basic knowledge of Health Economics.
• Working knowledge of Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety, Legal, and Compliance.
