2nd Engineer - On Board Position
Your life on board:
As a 2nd Engineer, you will serve as a role model, responsible for performing engine watch operations. You'll be responsible for controlling and maintaining machineries, updating and controlling the planned maintenance system (PMS) and ensuring safety standards.

- You are ensuring the smooth ship's operations and the maintenance of her machineries, inspiring confidence and reliability in your team.
- You're delighted to be responsible for maintaining an environment of safety and efficiency, leading the team with enthusiasm and inspiring trust.
- You are passionate about new technologies and willing to learn
Get things right:
- You will be responsible for carrying out your watch according to the official standards.
- You will oversee maintenance and checks according to PMS for the designated tasks in cooperation with the Senior Engineer of the watch.
- You will report all relevant changes and information to the SEOOW.
- You will guide your colleagues in their professional development, following trainings and safety protocols.
- You will cultivate a supportive work environment and motivate your team to achieve excellent results.
Safety First:
- You familiarize and act accordingly with the latest Health, Environmental, Safety and Security (HESS) national, international and company rules and regulations
- You are creating a welcoming and secure environment where everyone feels comfortable and respected.
What makes you unique:
- You are holder of national second engineer certificate of competency (COC III/2 unlimited) as per STCW regulations.
- You have at least one year of experience as a watchkeeping Engineer on a cruise vessel or 2nd Engineer on different kinds.
- You have a B2 spoken level of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- You have good communication skills; you are a curious, organized and determined person with experience in people management.
