), and a global manufacturer of circuit protection, power control, and sensing technologies serving the industrial, transportation, and electronics markets.

Company is is seeking a
Financial Accountant
responsible for managing core financial processes for the company's Italian entity. The role focuses on
Accounts Payable
,
Intercompany Transactions
, and
Financial Reporting
.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

  • Process and review supplier invoices (EU and non-EU).
  • Monitor open purchase orders, reconcile AP accruals, and manage AP letters of exemption.
  • Resolve invoice and tax code discrepancies.
  • Coordinate weekly payments and monthly Intrastat filings.
  • Manage the local AP email inbox and provide backup support for invoice booking.

Intercompany:

  • Reconcile intercompany balances and manage cash transfers.
  • Support intercompany accounts payable reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
  • Communicate with other company entities and the corporate treasury team.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, including accruals and statutory financial statements.
  • Ensure SOX compliance and support internal and external audit requests.
  • Maintain accurate control documentation and support internal control reviews.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the shared service center, banks, employees, and management to resolve issues and maintain accurate records.

Requirements
:

  • Degree in a financial field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar).
  • 1+ years of experience in accounts payable, intercompany processes, and general ledger accounting.
  • Experience in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

The offered salary is €30,000-€45,000/year.
