The
Salesforce Product Owner for Service
will drive ABB's strategic Salesforce platform by owning the Service products and defining a clear global vision aligned with the ABB Way. This role ensures efficiency, consistency, and collaboration across business areas and divisions, creating a unified approach to product development through agile methodologies that foster innovation, reduce complexity, and minimize technical debt.

Key responsibilities include co-defining and prioritizing product demands, aligning them with the organizational roadmap, and facilitating stakeholder collaboration to optimize design and adoption of core solutions. The role emphasizes transparency, agility, and value-driven engagement with ABB Salesforce Practice (ASP) and divisions, enabling swift responses to business needs. Additionally, the Product Owner will organize the demand process to deliver business value at the right speed, leveraging iterative feedback cycles. A critical focus will be on building ASP's agile capabilities to ensure adaptability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong collaboration with BPOs and key leaders to align priorities, manage demand, and ensure consistent solutions across divisions.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of the Service product by establishing a global vision and strategy that aligns with organizational goals and focuses on business value generation.
  • Champion the target process, ensure smooth execution and documentation, and involve cross-functional teams when needed.
  • Organize sprint planning, resolve priority conflicts, and motivate teams to deliver milestones on time.
  • Advocate for Salesforce standard features and reusable solutions to reduce complexity and technical debt.
  • Track KPIs, manage risks, and resolve prioritization conflicts to ensure successful product adoption and enhancements.
  • Foster innovation (e.g., AI tools), manage budgets, and ensure compliance with governance and security standards.
  • Work with the Comms, Change & Training Lead to ensure effective onboarding and adoption of new capabilities through a structured change management strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Systems, or Business Engineering (master's degree preferred).
  • 12–15 years of relevant professional experience, including 4–6 years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within Salesforce Service or related domains.
  • Scrum Product Owner, Salesforce Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, and Field Service Consultant.
  • Ability to align product vision with organizational goals using critical thinking and data-driven insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record in managing projects end-to-end with a focus on execution and delivery.
  • Clear, persuasive communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
