We are looking for a highly motivated and creative
senior lighting designer
to join our in-house design team in the design sector and work on exciting retail, high-end residential, artistic and hospitality projects in Italy and around the world.

The
senior lighting designer
we are looking for should possess not only technical skills but also a highly creative mindset, innovative solutions, refined aesthetic sense and strong teamwork ability, along with effective collaboration and communication skills to interact with designers, clients, and external stakeholders.

​

Responsibilities

  • Interpret the client brief and collaborate with senior lighting designers and architects to create and develop creative lighting concepts that complement and enhance the design and user experience

  • Produce lighting sketches, detailed drawings, lighting calculations, lighting reports and 3D renderings (Lighting Calculation and simulation)

  • Specify high-quality products and equipment in line with the aesthetics and objectives of the project

  • Independently explore innovative materials and techniques that enhance future designs

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Product/Industrial Design/Interior Architecture/Spatial Design or equivalent

  • At least three years of professional experience

  • Proven experience in lighting design within high-end retail/hospitality projects

  • Good knowledge of material properties and solutions

  • Ability to think from small to large scales in space

  • Excellent knowledge of 3D software (Rhino, Grasshopper Sketch-Up), Dialux, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite programs (Id, Ps and Ai)

  • Interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of meeting high industry standards

  • Professional level of English

  • Eligibility to work in Italy without sponsorship

N
ice to have

  • Retail design experience

  • Hospitality design experience

  • Rendering and Animation software skills will be considered a plus
