Job Description
As part of our international expansion, we are recruiting a Project Manager to lead our data center projects in Milan and across Italy.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the overall execution of data center projects from initiation to delivery.
- Managing scope, budget, planning, risks, and quality to ensure successful outcomes.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, suppliers).
- Driving project governance, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and safety requirements.
- Monitoring procurement progress and subcontractor execution.
- Preparing and presenting project reports and KPIs to senior management and clients.
- Leading regular coordination meetings with project teams, site directors, and clients.
- Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to secure project objectives.
- Acting as the main client interface throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring alignment between design, procurement, and site execution.
Candidate Profile
Hard Skills
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management for construction or infrastructure projects.
- Solid knowledge of project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office).
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken); Italian is an asset.
Soft Skills
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage priorities in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Problem-solving mindset and focus on results.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in data centers, critical facilities, or renewable energy projects.
- PMP/Prince2 certification or equivalent.
