Professional Services Consultant – Security

The Professional Services Consultant will be a subject matter expert for implementing

and troubleshooting Juniper Networks products and solutions, with a strong emphasis

on the Juniper Security Portfolio. This includes Branch SRX, High-End SRX, Juniper

Secure Analytics (JSA), Sky ATP, Policy Enforcer, NAC, TDD DDoS, on-prem firewall

(basic and advanced features such as IPS, AppSecure, URL Filtering, Cloud AV and AS,

ATP Cloud, and SecIntel), Cloud Security Director for SRX management, and Remote

VPN access.

Technical expertise should include dynamic protocols (BGP required), L7 Firewalls,

IKE/IPSec VPN, RADIUS, TCP/IP, and traffic analyzers (e.g., Wireshark).

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Provide expert guidance and hands-on support to

operations teams to maintain network stability, performance, and security.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate closely with engineering teams, service

providers, and project leadership to align designs and deployments with timelines and

evolving requirements.

  • Issue Resolution: Act on complex network and security incidents, ensuring rapid

diagnosis and resolution to protect critical services.

  • Documentation & Handover: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation,

including network diagrams, implementation guides, and operational runbooks to

support seamless handover to operations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize designs and processes,

drawing from lessons learned in previous large-scale network deployments.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years in enterprise networking or security consulting, ideally for large scale or high-availability environments (e.g., corporate, broadcast, or public venues).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing advanced security solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of network monitoring, incident management, and operational

support processes.

  • Ability to lead and coordinate multi-vendor and cross-functional teams in time-critical

projects.

  • Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with technical teams and

senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting international or large-scale projects (enterprise,

telecommunications, or public sector).

  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE).
  • Experience using change management tools such as ServiceNow
