Position Summary

Jewelry restorers are responsible for cleaning, restoring, and refurbishing various types of jewelry, including gold and silver jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and watches. This position requires highly refined manual skills, professional knowledge, and patience; it is a highly skilled, high-end craftsmanship role.

Key Responsibilities

Inspecting jewelry for damage and wear

Repairing broken, scratched, and deformed gold and silver jewelry

Replacing or setting gemstones, diamonds, and other ornaments

Polishing, cleaning, and surface-treating jewelry

Performing delicate operations using professional tools and equipment (such as microscopes, welding equipment, polishing machines, etc.)

Communicating repair plans, quotations, and delivery times with clients

Adhering to safety operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area

Assisting with jewelry customization, alterations, and design modifications

Qualifications

Priority given to candidates with experience in jewelry repair, jewelry making, or related crafts

Strong finesse and attention to detail

Familiar with common precious metals, gemstones, and jewelry tool operation

Basic customer communication skills and service awareness

Patient and responsible

Apprenticeship or training experience is acceptable
