Packaging Development Intern

We are looking for a Packaging Intern to join our Research & Development team in our Home Care, Personal Care & Beauty business unit based in Nova Milanese.

How you make the difference

This position is crucial for Bolton because Packaging Intern follow and apply design for recycling principles and actively contribute to the achievement of Bolton Group's sustainability targets.

How Your Agenda Looks Like

  • Develop new primary and secondary packaging, as required from time to time by project briefs
  • Follow and apply desing for recycling principles and actively contribute to the achievement of Bolton Group's sustainability targets
  • Draw up and review technical specifications for packaging components within its competence
  • Validate new technically/functionally developed components
  • Improve the "machinability" of our packages

Your Team
You will collaborate with the Home Care Packaging Development team and you will be supported by a tutor.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical or Material or Chemical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Product Design or similar
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of the Office tools and the main 2D/3D design software
  • Local language: Proficient in Italian and English
  • Other skills: problem solving, easy-going, dynamic and cooperative in teamwork, capable of organizing work in a methodical manner, knowledge of the main important plastics type in use in our market.
