We are seeking highly qualified academics and researchers to provide expert insight on human rights issues within their region. This part-time, remote role involves reviewing and contextualizing information for high-stakes legal cases, ensuring academic rigor and accuracy. The position allows you to leverage your regional knowledge, contribute to impactful human rights work, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a flexible and intellectually stimulating environment. Ideal candidates are those with strong field experience, publications, or advanced study in relevant social sciences.

Accountabilities:
  • Review and finalize expert reports for human rights cases with precision and academic rigor
  • Verify, contextualize, and analyze information on regional human rights issues
  • Provide expert-level insight to support legal proceedings and research initiatives
  • Collaborate with legal and editorial teams to maintain professional and methodological standards
  • Ensure all outputs meet high-quality benchmarks for clarity, accuracy, and relevance
Requirements:
  • PhD in political science, sociology, international relations, history, law, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of human rights issues within the region
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills (B2+ or higher)
  • Prior experience in academic research, field studies, or region-specific scholarship highly valued
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity while meeting deadlines
