As a Surgical Equipment Manager for Sardegna supporting our Surgical Team, you will be trusted to deliver demos, services and consumables for Cataract and VitRet equipment at customer sites. You will act as a key contact throughout the demo and close process, ensuring seamless handover after the sale.
What a typical day looks like:
- Driving sales performance across Cataract and VitRet equipment, as well as VitRet consumables in key accounts
- Partnering with Account Managers and Technical Service to run demos and close opportunities
- Developing and executing account plans for cataract and selected VitRet customers, mapping decision makers and stakeholders
- Providing end-to-end support for customers at the time of sale, coordinating with specialist roles to deliver value-based solutions
- Generating demand through consultative selling, local events, and competitive conversions while monitoring competitor activity
What You'll Bring to Alcon
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- 3–5 years of experience in customer-facing roles within surgical or medical device environments (ophthalmology preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Cataract and VitRet portfolios, with consultative B2B selling experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively in a matrix organization with resilience and drive
