About the Role:

This profile is responsible for:

  • Defining the design of electronic hardware for upgrade kits during the quotation phase;
  • Defining the update of the PLC and HMI software during the quotation phase;
  • Defining electrical diagram and components selections with particular focus on motion control and safety;
  • Analysing technical quotation of third part suppliers to include in the quotation.
  • Defining hardware or software solutions with the target to understand customer's need;
  • In case of need, the solution develop during quotation will also be realized in execution phase.

What you need to be successful:

  • At least 5 years of experience in automatic machinery for primary or secondary packaging;
  • Degree in Automation or Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering;
  • Quotation skills and methods, also identifying risks and mitigation plan;
  • Knowledge of the main PLC programming environments (Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens);

  • Knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, including:

  • Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSR);

  • EC Declaration of Conformity

  • Knowledge of functional safety standards;

  • Reading and editing electrical diagrams (EPLAN P5-P8);
  • Fluent English language at a professional level, written and oral;
  • Availability to travel;
  • Flexibility in managing priorities;
  • Effective communication skills to easily build trust towards colleagues.
