We are looking for innovative Tax and Technology professionals that are looking to broaden their careers by supporting our clients to transform their tax functions and respond to the digitalization of the Tax Administrations through leveraging data, process and technology. As you build your career with us to become an innovative Tax ERP and Tax Technology professional you will be helping our clients to design, develop and implement systems architecture that best meets their business needs, in the rapidly changing tax and legal landscape.

Your role will entail gathering the requirements for designing and implementing ERP solutions (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.) or other tax technology solutions to help our clients to meet the increasingly digital tax reporting requirements, including e-invoicing, e-reporting and e-audit requirements. You will be working alongside an experienced and growing team, in what is a once in lifetime opportunity to support our clients in ensuring that they have the right data, business processes and systems set-up for the future.

ü Evaluating the client's tax and business requirements to build the optimal Digital Reporting Mandates solution (such as SAP Document and Reporting Compliance) design to support the changing digital tax requirements

ü Design, build and integrate tax requirements and processes into the e-invoicing/ e-reporting solution design and wider ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.) to meet clients' requirements

ü Assess systems architecture (ERP and other tax systems) currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions (ERP or alternative solutions) to improve it or fill the gap

ü Assess business impact of functional and technical choices made, and help resolve technical problems as and when they arise

ü Develop/ maintain good working relationships with key client and internal stakeholders and keep them informed of challenges/ risks/ issues with technical solutions being implemented

ü Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets, achievements against plan etc.

ü Continually research current and emerging technologies (SAP, Oracle or others) and propose changes as part of Deloitte's Tax ERP Value Proposition

Qualification And Experience Required –
ü MBA or Chartered Accountant or Bachelor's in Finance/Accounts from reputed University with overall experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Taxation

ü 3-4 years of Experience in Tax, ERPs and Tax Technology

ü Hands on experience and proven skills in ERP and tax technology solutions e.g. SAP, Oracle, Edicom, Pagero, SOVOS etc.

ü Proven experience in Tax, ERP and Tax Technology solution architecture design

ü Experience of working with SAP Document & Reporting Compliance, or other tax technology solution responding to digital reporting mandate

ü Experience of project methodologies – Agile, Waterfall, etc. and how tax engine deployment fits in each one.

ü SAP module experience covering FI, MM & SD and a working knowledge of Tax procedures, Tax conditions, GL set up, tax codes, access sequences, conditions records, intercompany tax configuration. Or alternatives within Oracle or other ERP systems.

ü Experience with ERP migration process.

ü Experience of ERP Functional specification document for tax enhancements, and functional configuration document

ü Experience of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Intercompany scenarios testing and setting up required master data requirements

ü Experience of creating and preparing demos and ad-hoc slides for a range of audiences at clients.

ü Efficient communication and stakeholder management skills

ü Strong desire to learn new skills and technology

ü Ability to work under own initiative and manage variety of stakeholders

ü Experience working with a variety of people within a dynamic, fast changing environment as part of a multi-functional team/project

ü Excellent project management skills, able to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy in work and attention to detail
