Activities

  • Coordinate and supervise the quality control team of 3 people, ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor inspections and tests on produced transparents, ensuring conformity with technical and regulatory requirements of the aerospace sector.
  • Manage the quality control process in accordance with ISO 9100 certification, maintaining updated quality documents and records.
  • Analyze quality control data to identify any non-conformities, initiating corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with production and engineering departments.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team for the validation of new processes and materials, ensuring products meet the safety and performance standards required by the aerospace sector.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits, ensuring preparation and compliance with ISO 9100 requirements.
  • Train and support team personnel on quality control procedures, promoting a culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Prepare periodic reports on quality performance and present results to company management.

Required Skills

  • Solid experience in quality control within aerospace environments, with in-depth knowledge of sector-specific requirements.
  • Knowledge and application of ISO 9001 standards, with experience managing certified quality systems.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to plan and coordinate operational activities.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection techniques specific to transparent materials and aerospace components.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills for managing non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of production processes and materials used in the aerospace sector, particularly related to transparents and optical components.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various company departments and certification bodies.
  • Ability to prepare clear and precise technical documentation and quality reports.
  • Teamwork attitude and orientation towards continuous process improvement.
  • English language proficiency level: B1 or higher
