Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Director of Project Management, based in Milan. The Director of Project Management will oversee project portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines. Primary responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, leading cross-functional teams, and driving overall process improvement. The role involves strategic planning, ensuring adherence to best practices in program and project management. Successful candidates will play a key role in contributing to the efficiency and success of our projects and operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Program Management and Project Management, ensuring extensive oversight and execution of project deliverables.
  • Strong skills in Budgeting and Process Improvement for driving operational efficiency and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Experience in Team Leadership with a proven track record of encouraging collaboration and fostering growth within teams.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is a plus.
  • Experience within the trade, logistics, or international business sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of business and market dynamics in the UK and EU regions is beneficial.
