Strategic Purchaser

We're looking for a Strategic Purchaser & Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Naples and play a key role in managing procurement, supplier relations, and operational excellence across the defence and aerospace sector.

This position combines strategic purchasing with hands-on operational coordination, offering exposure to global suppliers and major clients such as Leonardo S.p.A. and other leading aerospace organisations.

Key Responsibilities

· Procurement & Supplier Management – Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure a competitive, reliable, and timely supply of core commodities.

· Bid & Tender Coordination – Manage tender documentation, submissions, and deadlines across multiple client portals.

· Operational Support – Collaborate with the Head of Operations to align procurement, expediting, logistics, and accounting activities.

· Issue Resolution – Address challenges related to availability, certification, delivery, or export control by finding effective solutions.

· Continuous Improvement – Contribute to process optimisation and data accuracy using ERP and digital tools.

What We're Looking For

· Proven experience in procurement, operations, or supplier management, ideally within the aerospace or defence industry.

· Excellent command of English (written and spoken) — essential for both internal communication and coordination with international partners and suppliers.

· Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on attitude.

· Excellent communication and relationship management skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.

· Understanding of industry standards and certification processes (AS9100, AQAP, etc.) is a plus.
