JOB PURPOSE

 

The chosen candidate will support the Press Office team by collaborating on fashion show activities before and after the event, drafting reports and internal presentations, and providing assistance with daily press requests in a timely manner.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collating fashion show accreditation requests, compiling the photographer list and distributing passes accordingly. Supporting with preparation of seating charts and physical invitations. Collating the list of travel addresses for international press and providing to the external courier service in order to organize delivery of show invitations.
  • Monitoring international press coverage and editorial highlights for inclusion in the daily press review. Keeping track of covers and best editorials for inclusion on the Prada Instagram account.
  • Sourcing hard copy magazines for the team, following up with the subsidiaries to receive missing copies, and proactively checking on thank you card requests.
  • Handling the thank you card process from start to finish, placing orders for Marchesi gifts and shipping signed cards to subsidiaries.
  • Responding to daily requests on the office's Fashion Press account, preparing press material for distribution, following up on assigned projects and tasks.
  • Assisting with the reporting process and drafting presentations.
  • Sourcing seasonal product packshots, proactively sending requests for missing assets to the photo studio, downloading visuals, and circulating material to the subsidiaries.
  • Providing support with documentation for press sample order proposals.
  • Collaborating with the team on seasonal gifting activities, preparation for press days, and logistics tasks.
  • Supporting with bookings and reservations for the team to organize press appointments and meetings.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, most importantly Powerpoint and Excel
Fluency in Italian and English
Proactive attitude 
Strong interest in fashion magazines and digital media 
Timeliness and ability to work against deadlines 
Constant attention to detail and precision
